Garima Thakur

Garima Thakur is a volunteer tutor and STEM expert based in San Diego, California. She currently works with NCOPS tutoring middle school students to encourage their interest in STEM subjects and help those lacking inspiration in the field. Previously, she served as an assistant professor at a university in India, where she taught students pursuing master's and bachelor's degrees, conducted research, and influenced their academic paths. Her commitment to teaching dates back to her high school years, when she voluntarily taught her juniors, and continued after earning her master's degree from a university in India, including voluntary tutoring of high school students and a 14-month role at a university before relocating. She is a member of NCOPS and remains passionate about education while currently focusing on her role as a mother of a newborn.
