About Garla
She is a visionary leadership development and organizational effectiveness executive with over a decade of experience driving strategic alignment, culture transformation, and sustainable impact across education, government, and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as President & CEO of GLJ Leadership Partners, she partners with leaders in state agencies, districts, schools, and for-profit organizations to address misalignment at the leadership level and within teams that limits execution, erodes culture, and stalls results. Through her flagship work in Organizational Alignment & Culture Transformation, she facilitates executive alignment, strengthens organizational culture, designs leadership development experiences, and coaches senior leaders to lead with clarity, confidence, and consistency. Prior to this role, she served as Senior Vice President of Growth & Impact, Strategic Partnerships & Initiatives, and Implementation at CORE Learning, and as Director of Literacy Partnerships and Educational Services Manager, specializing in adolescent literacy and professional learning. Her career also includes serving as Principal of Reynoldsburg High School Health Sciences & Human Services Academy, College & Career Readiness Specialist at Educational Service Center of Central Ohio, and Program Operations Specialist/Deputy Chief at the U.S. Department of Education. She is an Elite Certified Facilitator of True Colors®, delivering workshops that deepen self and team awareness, strengthen communication, and build trust.
