Her Story
About Gayathri
I became a mother 20 years ago, and that's when I realized I needed to become a better version of myself to raise my son better. I homeschooled him and taught myself how to teach and do lesson plans. This journey of self-improvement and homeschooling became the foundation for my venture, which I launched in 2016. I've been an entrepreneur working in education for the past 10 years, and moved to Dallas from India in 2025, so I've been working in the US for about 1 year. Apart from my regular mommy duties and homemaker duties, I run my business and coordinate with a team that sits in India. I do parent coaching sessions for families, working with both mom and dad or the important people with the children. I also run a startup called Literacy Beast, which focuses on English enrichment education for children ages 4 to 10, and was incubated at IIM Bangalore, which is one of the Ivy League schools of India. My most meaningful achievements are when my clients message me saying they slept peacefully, when teenagers are openly conversing with their parents and sharing what's happening in their life. When parents tell me the home environment is peaceful, that's my biggest award, and that's when I sleep peacefully too.

Ten minutes with Gayathri
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to creating empowering and thriving homes. My biggest achievement is when my clients message me saying that they slept peacefully, when teenagers are openly conversing with them and sharing what's happening in their life. When my parents say they're peaceful and the home environment is peaceful, that is my biggest award and achievement. And that day, I sleep peacefully.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Listen to your inner voice, be passionate about whatever you're doing, and the rest will fall in place.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Parenting is booming and is everywhere. Every other parent I meet wants to establish a better connection with their children and better emotional bonding. I see that as a huge opportunity to work with families because more and more, both parents are working and they have very less time in their hands. In that little time, they would like to connect with their children. Children are also going through a lot of stress because of the increase in their screen times and lack of emotional bonding with their peers because of screens taking over the real relationships and friendships. In this scenario, I see a huge potential where I can work with parents to establish their connections and bring home an environment where parents are also winning and children are also winning.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Personal connection is very, very important to me. It's not like they come for one hour of coaching and I'm done with them. If I'm not available, I at least make myself available the earliest I can for the family I'm working with, which is very crucial for me. I don't wait for the next coaching session if I can answer them over a WhatsApp message or a quick email or a quick call. That's very important to me.
