Ten minutes with Geeta

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to perseverance, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to continuous growth. I believe success is built through consistent effort, showing up every day, and remaining focused on my purpose despite challenges. I am grateful for the mentors, colleagues, family, and friends who have supported and guided me throughout my journey. I strive to stay true to my values, learn from every experience, trust my abilities, embrace change, and never allow setbacks to define what I am capable of achieving.

02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in cybersecurity is keeping pace with the rapidly evolving landscape driven by artificial intelligence and increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. My role also requires balancing multiple responsibilities while maintaining the highest standards of quality, collaborating across more than 200 teams, serving as both an advisor and mediator, and effectively managing diverse expectations. At the same time, these challenges present tremendous opportunities to drive innovation, strengthen organizational security, and build trusted partnerships across the business.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, respect, accountability, compassion, resilience, creativity, and continuous learning are the values that guide both my professional and personal life. I believe in doing the right thing even when no one is watching, giving my best effort in every situation, respecting the contributions of others, and ensuring everyone feels heard and valued. I embrace accountability, learn from mistakes, honor my commitments, remain resilient through challenges, and continually seek innovative ways to solve problems while pursuing personal and professional growth.
