Genesis Romney

Genesis Romney is a multifaceted healthcare professional who holds a degree in healthcare administration. She works as a sleep technologist, assisting patients with sleep apnea by applying electrodes, monitoring sleep, and initiating treatments. In addition to her healthcare roles, she serves as a scrum master in the tech field and represents Minnesota as Miss Classic Minnesota 2026. Romney is also a certified lactician and provides sister locks services as an entrepreneur. Originally from the Caribbean, she moved to the United States and pursued additional certifications to advance her career. She is a member of the United Crown of America and a polysomnography organization. Romney is passionate about maternal and postpartum health advocacy, especially for Black women, and is planning to open a non-profit organization dedicated to this cause after experiencing personal loss. She attributes her success to her children, faith, and family, and advises pursuing difficult paths even when they seem challenging.
