Genesis Del Valle

Genesis Valle serves as Assistant Project Manager in construction, a role she has held since March after progressing from project administrator. With four and a half years in the industry, her responsibilities include assisting project managers and directors by preparing owner invoices, scheduling subcontractors according to job site needs, performing site walkthroughs, and filing permits as required. Her path began in food service before moving into construction as a parking coordinator, where curiosity led her to ask questions of subcontractors and transition to laborer work involving drywall, jackhammers, and tile moving. She later leveraged her Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel certifications to move into the office. Outside her primary role, she works as a math tutor, applying skills to plan takeoffs and calculations, and teaches percussion as a band tech on Tuesdays and Thursdays, bringing a creative perspective to her team where she is the only member without a formal degree.
