Georgette Spaulding
Georgette Spaulding is an accomplished operations and logistics leader with over 26 years of experience managing mission-critical, 24/7 maritime and supply chain operations. Currently serving as a Senior Enlisted Leader and Supply Chain Manager at Priority Material Office, she oversees operations for 129 employees across 13 global locations. Known for her calm, hands-on leadership, Georgette excels in workforce scheduling, vendor coordination, budget management, incident response, and process improvement using ERP and SAP systems. Her professional philosophy emphasizes compassion, accountability, and earning trust to ensure teams are motivated and effective in delivering uninterrupted, high-stakes operations.
Georgette’s career began after attending community college in Miami, Florida, when she joined the U.S. Navy. Rising through the enlisted ranks to Master Chief (E-9), she gained extensive experience aboard aircraft carriers and vessels such as the USS Cole, managing large personnel movements, inventories, and multi-million-dollar budgets. Throughout her military career, she became known for her mentorship, people-centered leadership, and ability to support her teams through challenging circumstances, including high-pressure, highly regulated environments.
Beyond her professional achievements, Georgette is passionate about continuous learning and personal development, recently completing her Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification through Veterans Transition Support. She is committed to giving back through volunteer work with veterans’ homes and youth programs, and she actively seeks opportunities to bring her expertise in logistics, operations, human resources, and project management to the civilian workforce. Her career reflects a unique blend of operational excellence, leadership, and dedication to service.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the military’s transformative experience, which shaped my rigorous work ethic, strong morals, and authentic leadership. My compassion for others and the support of my family, especially my mother, have also been key foundations in my journey.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is simply to keep going, persevering through challenges has carried me from boot camp to nearly 27 years of service, and now into retirement next month.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to earn and respect the respect of others while staying flexible and adaptable. Focus on what you can control, show up consistently with commitment and the right attitude, and take full advantage of the training and educational opportunities available.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges in my field are managing the personal impact of lengthy deployments and balancing family responsibilities. At the same time, the opportunities are vast, including access to tuition assistance and the GI Bill, technical and trade training, and leadership experience that easily transfers to civilian careers.

The values most important to me in work and life are integrity, respect, and following through on commitments, guided by a strong work ethic, compassionate leadership, and treating people well.
