She is a dedicated volunteer program manager and community engagement professional with over a decade of experience in volunteer coordination, donor relations, and program leadership across the hospice, nonprofit, and social services sectors. Currently serving as Volunteer Program Manager at Hospice of San Joaquin, she oversees the recruitment, training, coordination, and retention of hospice volunteers, ensuring a well-supported and effective program that enhances the quality of life for patients receiving end-of-life care. She serves as the primary liaison between volunteers and the interdisciplinary team, manages schedules, matches volunteers to patient needs, and ensures compliance with Medicare regulations. Prior to this role, she served as Director of Volunteers and Donor Relations and Volunteer and Donor Relations Manager at St. Mary's Dining Room, where she built and led a volunteer and community service program supporting a medical and dental clinic and nine additional departments serving individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty. Her career also includes roles as Wedding Coordinator at Cathedral of Annunciation and Supervisor at Charlotte Russe. She has conducted ethnographic fieldwork at the University of the Pacific on mentorship and higher education attainment. She is recognized as a compassionate, organized, and community-focused leader who is deeply committed to uplifting underserved populations and creating meaningful connections between volunteers and those in need.
