What do you attribute your success to?
I originally planned to become a news reporter, but a chance job application led me into the skincare industry—and I’ve never looked back. What started as curiosity quickly grew into a passion, eventually leading me from corporate sales to launching my own business as an aesthetic consultant and certified life coach. I started this new chapter during a time of deep personal loss, and that experience now fuels my drive to help others grow. I attribute my success to resilience, strong relationships, and a genuine love for what I do.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Stay curious, ask questions. Be on time !!
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is simple: **listen more to learn more, and don’t be afraid to ask for help**. This field is built on connection, and no one succeeds alone. Resilience has been non-negotiable in my journey—through personal losses and professional pivots, I’ve learned to keep going even when things feel uncertain. Authenticity and integrity are just as important; showing up as your full self is what builds lasting trust and meaningful relationships in both business and life.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in my field right now is building a strong digital presence. I’ve always excelled in face-to-face sales and relationship-building, but translating that success into an impactful online brand has been a learning curve. Social media hasn’t always come naturally to me, but I’ve recently invested in professional photos and I’m preparing to launch a dedicated Instagram page to highlight my work and client transformations. I’m also in the process of building a website to create a more cohesive brand experience. Thankfully, I’ve had support from someone younger who really understands the digital landscape, and together we’ve even used AI tools to uncover new growth opportunities—like identifying local spas to collaborate with. It’s exciting to see how technology, when used strategically, can open doors and elevate your business.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value integrity, connection, and learning through life experience. My path has been unconventional, but I’ve grown by showing up and learning from challenges. I believe in doing things the right way, even if it takes longer, and building genuine relationships is at the heart of everything I do.
