About Gia
Gia Silver serves as Manager of Community Investments at Community Foundation Tampa Bay. In this role, she oversees all grant cycles, manages a process that distributes over three million dollars annually, reviews grant applications, checks in with recipient nonprofits, and supports early learning literacy initiatives. She began her career at the organization two years ago as a front desk receptionist shortly after earning her bachelor's degree, advanced to Specialist on the community impact team within a year, and was recently promoted to her current position. Gia also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Tampa, where she teaches undergraduate courses in speech and communication. She earned her master's degree through a one-year fast track program at the same university, graduating in August 2025, and began teaching the following week. She is a Delta Zeta alumna who assists with recruitment efforts and volunteers with the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation, participating in their annual gala and working alongside the children.
