Her Story
About Gigi
I left Google at the end of last year after 7 years and started my AI-native market research firm Pi at the start of 2026. At Google I started in product marketing, moved to go-to-market across ads business and then Chrome. I joined out of college because it was my dream company and wanted to immerse myself in the innovative startup scene in California. Now at Pi we help brands predict customer reactions to new products, messages, packaging and ads.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
When you're young, do things with asymmetric upside. Take the bigger risk because you have limited downside but crazy upside potential. Also, do the thing where you're gonna learn the most. And find areas you're genuinely passionate about because that's where you have your edge and will excel.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Just start doing something. If you have an idea for a company, set up a website, start reaching out to people, just try it out. It's not that deep or scary, just start doing something in that direction and doors will unlock.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Huge opportunity in AI space as work will change for the better to help people get things done faster and more efficiently. The pace of technological advancement is remarkable so focus on pushing the product forward, innovating at the cutting edge while bringing customers along into the future vision.
