Her Interview

Ten minutes with Gina

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would say just being consistent with it. There were some bumps in the road to start out but now being consistent with it especially now that we're in year 10.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice would be to just stick to what you know it becomes natural to you do that. And that was how I knew being in the publishing field was for me because everything just started coming to me and I could easily get it done for a person.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would say to learn all you can before you make it public. Learn all you can from a mentor from education from any type of skills that you need to know in your field.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges are having the consistent help that's needed. Having the consistent so people can be consistent but sometimes their level of work is not always consistent. So finding another you to do what you would like to do.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

When it comes to my work I would say the value would be integrity. The integrity of the work that I do the integrity that others bring to the publishing company. When it comes to my personal life I would say being a friend. A friend shows the friend that they are friends. And I would say my faith. I consistently want others to see my walk with Christ.
