Her Interview
Ten minutes with Gina
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to resilience, a willingness to seek out opportunities, and the support of incredible mentors who have guided me throughout my career. I have learned the importance of staying adaptable, embracing challenges, and continuing to grow through every experience.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received is that when stepping into an executive role, I needed to let go of what I already knew in order to fully learn what was required of me in my new position. That meant releasing some control, staying open to new perspectives, and recognizing that growth comes from being willing to listen, learn, and adapt.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women entering this industry to recognize the incredible opportunity they have to make an impact and leave their mark. Quiet the inner voice that creates doubt and challenges your confidence. Stay curious, continue learning, and embrace the opportunity to show up fully as yourself.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field is balancing underutilization with oversaturation among professionals who provide this type of work. While organizations need these skills and expertise, they do not always experience the full impact they can create. At the same time, this presents a significant opportunity, because the world needs more resilient leaders who can help organizations navigate complexity, change, and growth.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me are trust, authenticity, integrity, and collaboration. I believe every person brings unique value through their talents, experiences, and perspectives, and I strive to create space for those contributions. I value partnering and co-creating with others, while also having the courage to acknowledge that I do not always have all the answers. Leading with humility, high integrity, and trust allows for stronger relationships and better outcomes.
