About Gina
Gina Nazario is a research project manager who has been with her current company for about 10 years overall in healthcare. She was promoted to her current role in 2023 after performing the duties since 2019, and she leads an institutional-wide tissue donation program for cancer research and biobanking that she expanded from a small lung cancer initiative to one accepting all cancer types. Nazario earned her Master's degree in Biology in January 2023 after working flexible jobs during graduate school, including substitute teacher, standardized patient, 24/7 call center operator for doctors' offices, and ER scribe. She is set to graduate with her MBA on August 8th. Outside of work, she has volunteered with Metropolitan Ministries since 2022 as an after-school tutor and holiday tent assistant, and she has owned a small empanada business at farmers markets for 6 years.
