Her Interview

Ten minutes with Gina

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my strong faith in the Lord, whose guidance and blessings I am deeply grateful for. I am also thankful for the unwavering support of my family, especially my husband, who continually encourages me to keep going and pursue my goals.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have received is to approach everything with love and compassion. Although the work can be challenging and discouraging at times, especially when helping individuals struggling with addiction and criminal backgrounds, it is important to stay motivated, remain patient, and remember the positive impact we can make in their lives.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I encourage young women entering this industry to be patient and persistent. You may not see immediate results or feel successful at the beginning, but with dedication and perseverance, your efforts can lead to a rewarding and meaningful career.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is witnessing people struggle and wanting to help them overcome their difficulties. However, meaningful change requires personal willingness, and no matter how much support we provide, we cannot help someone who is not ready to help themselves. Learning to accept this reality while continuing to offer compassion and support is an important part of the work.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my professional and personal life are compassion, integrity, and teamwork. I believe in treating others with empathy and respect, maintaining honesty in everything I do, and working collaboratively to achieve shared goals and make a positive difference in people's lives.
