Ginelle Ziegelbauer
Ginelle Ziegelbauer is the President and Owner of Frequency Band, LLC and a Payroll & Operations Specialist with extensive experience supporting multi-state payroll environments within PEO organizations. She has managed payroll for more than 90 clients and workforces of up to 600 employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across complex payroll cycles. Her expertise includes full-cycle payroll processing, benefits administration, garnishments, tax compliance, and maintaining detailed employee records across multiple jurisdictions, with a strong focus on reliability and client support.
Ginelle’s journey in the entertainment industry began in 2013 as a singer with Frequency Band, under the leadership and mentorship of Shane Thomason, the company’s original owner. In 2016, following the tragic loss of Shane during the Pulse nightclub tragedy, the band was left without direction. During this difficult period, Ginelle was asked by her agent to step into a leadership role. Though it was unfamiliar territory, she formed an LLC and took over the business, ultimately becoming owner and bandleader. Since then, she has led Frequency Band as a one-woman operation, managing payroll, marketing, sales, proposals, contracts, and client relations.
Today, Ginelle oversees all aspects of Frequency Band while coordinating performances with 7 to 10 musicians per event and collaborating with subcontractors, agencies, and event planners for weddings, corporate functions, and large-scale city events. She has built the company into a steadily growing and respected presence in Orlando’s competitive entertainment market over the past decade. Alongside her entrepreneurial work, she continues to advance her corporate career in payroll operations, bringing together her strengths in precision, leadership, and service. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and Business Administration from Rollins College, which supports her blend of creative and operational expertise.

What do you attribute your success to?
I would say my faith in God and my supportive family, especially my husband. They're very supportive in my growth, and my faith stays strong and kind of keeps me going through everything.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
If you have a vision and it's a passion that's bugging you, I say go for it. This is not something that I expected I was going to do, but I love music that much, and the opportunity presented itself. Even if you're not prepared, you'll gain it along the way. Sometimes it's about taking that risk.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
This field can be very male-dominated, and a lot of the musicians I work with are male, but there are also a lot of strong, amazing women business owners in this industry in Orlando that I look up to. I would say don't be fearful of that. If you have the dream, you can lead people. Just don't have fear - take that step, that first step that will help you get where you need to go. And it doesn't hurt to ask for help along the way from people that you trust.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I think competition is always a challenge, and remaining relevant is crucial. In the space that we're in in Orlando, there's a lot of amazing bands and a lot of amazing talent, so trying to stand out is important. We have to make sure we stay current with the music that's going on, updating our repertoire and our songs, making sure we can stay within the competition to give the clients what they're wanting.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I would say integrity, professionalism, and staying organized are essential to me. Treating people with respect is especially important with what I do, because when you're working with a band, you get a lot of different personalities you're dealing with. It's about finding that balance in understanding but also being firm when needed. Being a great listener helps a lot too.
