Ten minutes with Ginger
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my loving parents who showed me how to love, be consistent, be hardworking, and to always believe in myself. They are no longer here in the physical, but their spirit lives on in my heart by how I present myself to the world.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
To always strive for the best with my education and knowledge while making an impact in whichever field I am passionate about.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Mostly women work in the field of ABA Therapy so do not be afraid to ask questions, get support, and learn as much as you can from those women who may have more experience than you.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The opportunity to get into the field of ABA Therapy is avaliable since the services are needed with the diagnosis of autism constantly rising. Once someone is a part of the field, there are opportunities for growth personally and career wise. The challenges occur when trying to find the right company to fit your values and beliefs as well as the right amount of support given to work with clients who may be aggressive or display other behaviors.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value respect, loyalty, support, and honesty in work and personal life. These values are shown different in each area, but they matter since the exchange of energy and communication is involved.
