Ten minutes with Ginger
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the influence of my parents and teachers, who instilled in me the values of hard work, perseverance, and service to others. Their guidance helped shape my strong work ethic and commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of those around me. Throughout my career, I have been motivated by the opportunity to help people solve problems and improve their circumstances. I have also been actively involved in volunteer and philanthropic initiatives, which have reinforced the importance of giving back and serving the community. Completing an Ironman triathlon was another defining achievement that taught me discipline, resilience, and the value of setting ambitious goals and following through on them, regardless of the challenges along the way.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I would encourage young women to focus on the best interests of others and seek work that is both meaningful and rewarding. Success is not only measured by personal achievement but also by the positive impact you have on the people around you. Building strong relationships, serving others with integrity, and finding purpose in your work can create a fulfilling and lasting career. I also encourage women to remain confident in their abilities, continue learning, and pursue opportunities that align with their values and passions.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the greatest opportunities in any profession today is the ability to create meaningful impact through innovation, collaboration, and service. As industries continue to evolve, professionals have more opportunities than ever to improve processes, solve complex problems, and contribute to positive outcomes for both organizations and communities. At the same time, a key challenge is maintaining a people-centered approach in increasingly fast-paced and demanding environments. Those who can balance performance with genuine care for others will be well positioned to lead and make a lasting difference.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Balance and determination are the values that guide both my professional and personal life. I believe success is most meaningful when it is achieved while maintaining strong relationships, personal well-being, and a sense of purpose. Determination has helped me overcome challenges, stay focused on long-term goals, and continue moving forward even when obstacles arise. At the same time, maintaining balance allows me to remain grounded, make thoughtful decisions, and dedicate time to the people and causes that matter most. Together, these values have shaped my approach to leadership, service, and personal growth.
