I attribute my success to my dedication, self-motivation, and goal-driven mindset. I am committed to continuously learning, expanding my knowledge, and pursuing opportunities for professional growth through ongoing education and development. My attention to detail, strong work ethic, and passion for making a positive impact have allowed me to overcome challenges, achieve meaningful results, and contribute value every day. I believe that staying curious, embracing growth, and remaining focused on making a difference are essential to long-term success.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received is to always be authentically myself, advocate for my ideas and contributions, and have the confidence to stand tall and proud in my abilities. I have learned the importance of using my voice, sharing my perspective, and recognizing that my opinions and experiences bring value. Staying true to who I am while continuing to grow professionally has helped me build confidence, navigate challenges, and make a meaningful impact throughout my career.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

The advice I would give to young women entering my industry is to embrace every opportunity that comes their way and approach each experience with curiosity and confidence. Do not be afraid of the unknown, as stepping outside of your comfort zone is often where the greatest growth and learning happen. Believe in your abilities, remain open to new challenges, and use every opportunity as a chance to build your skills, expand your perspective, and advance both personally and professionally.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities in my field right now is continuing to strengthen K–12 education procurement through strong leadership, collaboration, and strategic support across the district. By maintaining efficient, transparent, and responsible procurement practices, we can ensure that campuses have the resources they need to provide the highest level of support for students and staff. The focus remains on building strong partnerships, improving processes, and making thoughtful decisions that directly contribute to student success and the overall mission of education.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are empowerment, positivity, kindness, and respect. I believe in supporting and encouraging my team, creating an environment where others feel valued and confident, and bringing a positive attitude to every interaction. Treating people with respect and compassion is essential to building strong relationships and achieving shared success. I also believe that continuous learning is a lifelong journey—the more knowledge we gain, the more we grow, improve, and make a meaningful impact on those around us.
