Her Interview

Ten minutes with Gioconda

01What do you attribute your success to?

I believe my success as an investment advisor has been built on three principles: continuous preparation, disciplined decision making, and a genuine passion for serving others.

Financial markets evolve constantly, which is why I have always been committed to learning, staying informed, and strengthening my expertise. I believe my clients deserve advice grounded in knowledge, thoughtful analysis, and a deep understanding of an ever changing global environment.

Discipline has also been essential throughout my career. Long term success in investing is rarely driven by emotion or short term trends it comes from consistency, patience, and a well defined strategy. Those same principles guide every recommendation I make.

Above all, I am passionate about serving people. Behind every portfolio is a family, a business, or a lifetime of hard work. I see my role not simply as managing investments, but as helping people make confident financial decisions, navigate uncertainty, and build a lasting legacy. The trust my clients place in me is the greatest measure of success I could achieve.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received was to always think long term—not only when investing, but in the relationships you build.

Early in my career, I learned that behind every portfolio there is a person, a family, a lifetime of hard work, and dreams for future generations. Investment performance matters, but trust is what truly defines a successful advisory relationship.

That perspective has shaped the way I work. I believe the role of an advisor is not simply to recommend investments, but to walk alongside clients through every stage of their financial journey. That means taking the time to understand not only their goals and aspirations, but also their concerns, uncertainties, and the values they want their wealth to reflect.

Markets will always fluctuate, but relationships built on trust, empathy, and a shared long-term vision endure. Those relationships have been the most rewarding part of my career and continue to guide every decision I make.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the investment industry is to never stop preparing. Knowledge is what gives you confidence, credibility, and the ability to build a long and successful career. Financial markets evolve every day, so continuous learning is not optional it is essential.

Equally important is to keep your focus on your clients. Never forget that behind every portfolio there is a person, a family, and a lifetime of hard work. Your role is not simply to manage investments, but to understand your clients' goals, their dreams, and even their fears.

When you truly listen, put your clients' interests first, and combine empathy with technical expertise, you build something much more valuable than a portfolio you build trust. And in this profession, trust is the foundation of every lasting relationship and every successful career.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in our industry is helping clients navigate an increasingly complex financial world. Markets are more interconnected than ever, technology is transforming the way people access information, and clients are constantly exposed to an overwhelming amount of news and opinions. The challenge is no longer finding information it is helping people distinguish between noise and sound financial judgment.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide both my professional and personal life are integrity, discipline, service, and empathy.

I believe trust is earned through honesty, consistency, and always putting people first. That is why I approach every client relationship with transparency and a genuine commitment to understanding their goals, concerns, and values. Behind every portfolio there is a family, a story, and years of hard work, and I never lose sight of that responsibility.

Discipline is another value that defines me. Whether in investing or in life, I believe long-term success comes from preparation, thoughtful decision making, and staying committed to a clear purpose rather than reacting to short term challenges.

Above all, I value service. Helping families make confident financial decisions and guiding them through important moments in their lives is not just my profession it is my purpose. I believe that when you lead with integrity, empathy, and a genuine desire to serve, success becomes the natural outcome of the relationships you build.
