About Giovanna
Giovanna Beneti is a supply chain executive with over 20 years of experience at IBM. She currently serves as Demand Planning Inventory Manager in Poughkeepsie, New York, where she leads the planning team for one of IBM's most strategic products and manages remaining inventory to ensure alignment. Throughout her career, she has led different areas of supply chain including manufacturing, service, and supply chain transformation focused on becoming more digital with AI technology infused into processes and systems. She previously served as integration leader and technical assistant to the VP of supply chain, gaining a global view of operations across 170 countries. Giovanna is passionate about leadership and has held management roles while always focusing on mentoring and coaching others. She i spart of inclusion groups, representing the Hispanic and women at IBM, earning the HITECH award for Hispanic leaders in technology across Latin America, Spain, and Portugal. She also received the Manufacturing Leadership Council Award as Woman in Digital Transformation for her AI work in supply chain and the Step Ahead Award recognizing women in manufacturing for leadership, community, innovation, and developing others. Her story is featured in the Hispanic Star Rising book. She also collaborates with inclusion organization with in the industry, such as HITEC, SHPE, and SWE (Society of Women Engineering).
