About Giulianna
Giulianna Tuarez is an aspiring architect and architecture student at Clemson University with a strong foundation in design, technology, and creative problem-solving. Passionate about creating spaces that prioritize the people who use them, she is pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture degree with the goal of becoming a licensed architect through Clemson’s 4+2 program. Her interest in architecture developed through years of art and design education, hands-on experiences, and internships that allowed her to explore the connection between creativity, functionality, and the built environment.
Giulianna has gained practical experience through architecture internships with The Haskell Company and Ferrara Buist Construction Firm, where she developed skills in Revit, Bluebeam, Testfit, and architectural documentation. During these experiences, she contributed to project workflows, studied construction plans, participated in feasibility studies, created architectural models, and collaborated with professionals across different stages of development. She also brings a strong background in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, which she has used to support both design and marketing initiatives.
Beyond architecture, Giulianna has demonstrated leadership, creativity, and dedication through her roles as a swim coach at the YMCA and an art teacher, where she helps others build confidence and develop new skills. She attributes her success to her love for art and her detail-oriented approach, while emphasizing perseverance and discipline as important values in both her personal and professional life. With a passion for thoughtful design and continuous learning, Giulianna is building the foundation for a future career focused on innovative, human-centered architecture.
