About Glenda
My main area of expertise is in Creative/Art Direction, branding and editorial. I lead editorial meetings, direct the content for the publications I work on, concept and design the covers, and art direct photographers and freelance graphic designers. While at Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park, I won numerous regional and national design awards, primarily for coffee table books representing world-renowned artists. I'm an artist at heart, and graphic design is the profession that is best suited for me to apply my expertise.

01What do you attribute your success to?
In my current position at HPS, I would say one of the things that I attribute my success to is always thinking about the mission of the organization and keeping that close to heart. I stay involved in local professional events and national organizations, such as Creative Mornings and AIGA. West Michigan has a strong design history and community, and I think being connected with other professionals has kept me in tune with what's happening in the industry.
