Gloria Laureano

Dr. Gloria Laureano is a seasoned higher education leader with over two decades of experience advancing student success, equity, and engagement. Currently serving as the Senior Associate Vice President for Student Affairs at Kennesaw State University, she provides strategic oversight for a broad portfolio of student-centered programs and services. Her work spans strategic planning, professional development, and administrative operations, all aimed at fostering a dynamic, inclusive campus environment that supports academic achievement and holistic development.

Throughout her career, Dr. Laureano has demonstrated a deep commitment to transforming institutional culture and improving student outcomes. She has held leadership roles at multiple institutions, including Winston-Salem State University and the University of Central Florida, where she led initiatives in student wellness, advising, multicultural services, and career development. Known for her collaborative leadership style, she has overseen multimillion-dollar budgets and managed large, cross-functional teams while maintaining a student-first philosophy in all aspects of her work.

Dr. Laureano holds an Ed.D. and has participated in executive development programs such as the NASPA SERVE Academy and Harvard’s Institute for Management and Leadership in Education. A dedicated mentor and advocate, she has also contributed her expertise to several nonprofit boards supporting youth, education, and underserved communities.
