About Grace
Grace Vittiglio Burke is a certified health and wellness coach specializing in menopausal health, diabetes lifestyle coaching, fitness, and nutrition. She currently serves as a Menopausal Health Coach at the Katz Institute for Women's Health, where she supports women navigating perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause through practical lifestyle strategies focused on wellness, movement, nutrition, and self-care. She also works as a Diabetes Lifestyle Coach with the YMCA of the USA in Huntington, New York, helping individuals make sustainable lifestyle changes to improve their health outcomes. With more than two decades of experience in fitness, personal training, and health education, Grace has built a career centered on empowering individuals to achieve their personal wellness goals. She is the founder of Live Life Gracefully and G Fit, where she provides health coaching, fitness guidance, and lifestyle support tailored to each client’s unique needs. Her professional background includes serving as a fitness instructor, personal trainer, and culinary nutrition instructor at Chattanooga State Community College, where she combined her passion for nutrition education and healthy living. Grace holds a master’s degree in education from Long Island University and a health coaching certification from Emory University. She also earned a diabetes lifestyle coaching certification from Temple University, along with certifications in fitness training, two nutrition certifications and wellness certifications. Her coaching philosophy is built on active listening, compassion, and individualized support, helping clients identify realistic changes that fit their lives. Grace believes that successful health transformation begins with understanding each person’s unique journey and empowering them to make informed choices for long-term well-being.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to being kind and truly listening to my patients issues and their needs and goals.
I have the information and education to guide patients and to break down the information to help each woman find a personal path to success. Listening to what they say and fine-tuning information that can be useful to them. Being patient specific about what’s important to them.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Be passionate about what you do!
Be true to who you are.
I am very passionate about helping people to the best of my ability. Giving what I can give to help them be successful.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Follow your passion. Be true to yourself. Keep learning. Keep educating yourself.
Help those who enter the field behind you.
It's a pay it forward type of profession. Most people who went to healthcare are givers and you want to help others.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Healthcare, big healthcare, is a big ship that turns very slowly.
As a non-clinical coach, I stay in my lane however I have the knowledge to guide patients back to doctors when they need more information.
I help the patient consolidate and organize their thoughts, bullet point their questions, so that they can get the most out of their limited appointment times.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Kindness, honesty, integrity, and respect. Treat everyone the way you would like to be treated. Be thoughtful in your answers and not too quick answer. Also to reserve personal judgement. Sometimes we can not see or understand all sides. We should try to stay open, patient and calm.
