About Grace
I entered my current field in December 2025, marking a significant new chapter in my professional life. Before this transition, I worked as a waitress for 14 years, a job I left in October 2024 due to PTSD from domestic violence. That experience was very dramatic and difficult, but I'm grateful to be out of that situation now. I attended some college and completed about a semester working toward my associate's degree, but I ended up continuing with my waitressing job because I wanted to keep making money. Now, my day-to-day work involves a lot of outreach because I need to partner with domestic violence organizations so I can go after funding and hopefully get a team behind me to help with my app, Pattern Proofs. Looking ahead, I'd like to see myself successful, happy, and healthy in the next five years, and I hope that Pattern Proofs will have taken off by then. Visibility at this stage is everything - not just for me personally, but more importantly for the women who need to know that this app is out there to help them. Being featured with influential women would help me reach the professional networks and advocacy communities where I can make the biggest difference.
