About Grace
Grace Green is a Strategic Energy Manager and business leader at Salt River Project (SRP) in Phoenix, Arizona, where she has built a career focused on energy strategy, customer solutions, and operational leadership. Since joining the utility industry, she has advanced through roles supporting large commercial accounts, managing strategic energy initiatives, and leading business project teams. In her current role as Manager of the Business Project Center, Grace applies her expertise in communication, strategy, and collaboration to help drive impactful infrastructure and business solutions.
Before transitioning into the utility sector, Grace spent eight years in the retail cosmetics industry with Shiseido, managing brick-and-mortar operations throughout the Southwest. Her experience overseeing people, products, and business processes provided a strong foundation for her leadership style and ability to navigate complex challenges. She credits her background in communication and strategic thinking for helping her successfully transition industries and lead cross-functional teams, stakeholder discussions, and large-scale initiatives.
Grace earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Merchandising with a minor in Communication from Northern Arizona University and continues to invest in her professional growth through advanced education, including pursuing a negotiation certificate from Harvard Business School. She is also actively involved in her community, serving as a board member for the Arizona Tourism and Lodging Association and participating in volunteer initiatives such as supporting St. Mary’s Food Bank. Passionate about leadership, service, and innovation, Grace is dedicated to creating customer-focused solutions while helping shape the future of energy and business development.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Focus on transferable skill sets like communication and strategy. Start building foundations in current jobs so you are prepared when opportunities arise, even if they seem out of reach.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Capacity constraints on local and national levels due to exponential growth in energy needs from manufacturing, businesses, AI data centers. Grid needs to triple in 10-15 years. Challenge of customer-centric growth without cross-subsidizing costs.
