Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the consistent hard work I put into my development and growth. I am also deeply grateful for the support and generosity of my mentors, who have provided me with meaningful opportunities and trusted me to step into new roles. Their guidance has allowed me to build confidence, expand my capabilities, and continue thriving professionally.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've ever received would be to really be true to yourself and advocate for the things that you believe in.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I think the biggest piece of advice I'd give to a female coming into my industry is to really be very steadfast and confident, and know that we do know what we're doing. There will be people who will try to knock you down, especially as a woman, but we are just as knowledgeable and just as capable as anyone else.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

In my field, one of the biggest challenges right now is the increasing regulatory and governmental limitations on research and clinical trials, which can slow progress and make it more difficult for studies to move forward. This has also contributed to a more competitive job market within the industry. At the same time, I see an important opportunity to continue supporting and empowering those who are interested in pursuing research, especially in roles that aim to improve patient access to care. Research remains a powerful way to help level the playing field for patients who may not otherwise afford treatment, and I am committed to contributing to that impact despite current barriers.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are loyalty, communication, and trust. I believe these are foundational to building and maintaining strong, functional relationships in any setting. Without them, it becomes difficult to foster collaboration, understanding, and long-term success, which is why I prioritize them in everything I do.
