Grace B. Boykin

Grace Boykin is an accomplished novelist of 8 books, memoirist, screenplay, and founder of Grace Boykin Media. With a double major in Social Science and Secondary Education from Flagler College, she began her career teaching at the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind before expanding into education across Florida’s East and West coasts. Her passion for learning and exploration also led her to study Art History in Europe, attend the University of Central Florida for graduate-level reading studies, and pursue training in IQ testing at the Florida Institute of Technology. These experiences laid the foundation for a career marked by teaching, writing, and advocacy.
As an author, Grace has published a wide range of works spanning fiction, memoir, and autobiography. Her titles include The Southern Hunt, A Turbulent Life? Deafness, Blindness, and Tragedy, Beyond the Diagnosis: A Journey Through Cancer, and South of the Hill. Deeply personal stories, such as the loss of her son to cancer at age 32, have inspired her memoirs and reflect her commitment to transforming adversity into strength through storytelling. Her books are available on Amazon and in bookstores, and she continues to develop new projects that blend her life experiences with her passion for literature.
Beyond writing, Grace has been actively engaged in community service, arts, and cultural organizations. She has served as President and Career Awards Chairman of the National Society of Arts & Letters in Clearwater, Florida, and was deeply involved with the daughters of the American Revolution, where she held multiple leadership roles. A world traveler who has visited more than 25 countries, she brings a global perspective to her work and seeks out new stories that inspire, heal, and connect people. Today, through Grace Boykin Media, she continues to share her voice as an educator, storyteller, and advocate for resilience and creativity.
