Her Story
About Graziella
I've been in the banking industry for 15 years, starting back in 2011. Currently, I serve as a System Manager at Seacoast Bank, a position I've held since 2024. My work focuses on procedures and background operations, but what really drives me is the strength I bring to my community, especially the Spanish-speaking population. I help immigrants understand what banks need and guide them through the services available to them. Through this work, I've created a really strong community connection. One of my proudest achievements is that at one point, my entire agenda was booked without me even having to search for clients - that kind of community recognition means everything to me. I earned my Associate's degree in Business Administration back in my home country of Ecuador when I was young, sacrificing my Saturdays to complete my degree. After moving to the USA, I transferred my credits through Bunfield Community College in Massachusetts, completing that process in 2007. I'm a Florida Notary and have completed all my Managers Excellence Programs certifications through my current company. I'm a member of both the Latin Chamber and Hispanic Chamber.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Graziella
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my only daughter, Maribel. She's been my whole motivation my whole time. I wanted to build a path that she can be proud of me. Back in the days, it was really hard in the industry to have a woman as a name of business - it's different these days, but ten years ago it was a real challenge. Now when we look back, we remember how different it was. Having a career and then a name on it, that was something I did for her, so she could see what's possible.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't let nobody stop them. No matter what they tell you. That was me - I can hurt you, but if you don't believe in yourself, that's something different. You have to believe in yourself.
