Gwen Jefferson Skinner

Gwen Skinner is a software trainer and self-described technologist with approximately 30 years of experience in the field. She holds a journalism degree and initially worked as a writer for trade publications such as American Salon and Hosiery and Underwear, where she gained proficiency with multiple word processors. This background led her to a role as a software trainer 30 years ago, where she now primarily trains attorneys and support staff at law firms on various technologies, including both proprietary and off-the-shelf applications. As a consultant, Gwen also prepares customized training materials, employs soft skills in her sessions, and has served as an adjunct instructor at a community college in New York, where she developed and taught Microsoft Office courses. She is an active member of the Professional Legal Trainers Group in New York City and has recently been invited to join its board.
