Q

What do you attribute your success to?

My success comes from perseverance and focus. I set clear goals, stay consistent, and push forward even when the path isn’t easy. I’ve learned that success is built through discipline, faith, and the willingness to keep going when others stop.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I’ve received is: “Believe that you can achieve what you perceive.” Vision comes before manifestation. I practice seeing myself succeeding in something long before it happens, it keeps me aligned, confident, and ready to act on the vision I've seen.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Advice to young women entering nursing: Prioritize patient care but never forget the person behind the diagnosis. Lean on experienced colleagues, ask questions, and stay teachable as nursing is both science and humanity in motion. Advice to women pivoting from nursing to entrepreneurship: Learn from mentors and coaches who’ve walked the path. Build a business around your natural strengths and passion, something you’d still do even if no one paid you. Purpose sustains where profit fluctuates.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The greatest challenge in senior healthcare is fragmentation. Families are drowning in disconnected systems of care. The opportunity lies in integration: using strategy, advocacy, and education to bring clarity and coordination to caregiving. Those who innovate around human connection, artificial health technology and structure will redefine senior care.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are my faith, self-care, balance, and connection. I stay grounded through reading, travel, journaling, and time in nature, especially near water which restores clarity and purpose in how I serve others. I find peace in meaningful communication and simple gestures of gratitude, like handwritten notes, and I hope to continue nurturing these practices while enjoying more time seaside along the East Coast.
