01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the values that were instilled in me from an early age, especially hard work and dedication. Growing up in a small town, I learned the importance of showing up, putting in the effort, and staying committed to my goals. My parents, including my father’s career as a Border Patrol agent and my mother’s work in the corporate world, demonstrated the value of perseverance and responsibility. Those lessons have shaped the way I approach my career and continue to motivate me to strive for excellence.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received is to continue learning, remain adaptable, and never stop looking for opportunities to grow. Every role presents a chance to make a meaningful impact when approached with curiosity, commitment, and a willingness to improve. I believe that staying open to new experiences and continuously developing my skills are essential to long-term success.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering my industry is to stay curious, stay motivated, and never become complacent. If you have goals for growth, communicate them clearly with your manager and seek guidance on how to get there. However, career advancement also requires personal initiative—you have to take ownership of your development, create opportunities, and consistently demonstrate the value you bring to your organization.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The telecommunications industry is experiencing significant change due to rapid technological advancements, artificial intelligence integration, and evolving business needs. While these changes create challenges, they also provide tremendous opportunities for professionals who are adaptable, willing to learn new skills, and prepared to lead innovation. I believe the ability to embrace change while continuing to deliver exceptional customer experiences will be critical for success in the future.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me most are hard work, dedication, integrity, curiosity, continuous learning, supporting others, and building strong relationships. I believe success is not only measured by personal achievements but also by the positive impact we have on the people around us. These values influence how I approach my work, collaborate with others, and continue to grow both personally and professionally.
