01What do you attribute your success to?

I would say the women in my life, really. I've always been very curious. Growing up, I always just liked learning about different things, and I think just my willingness to ask why and try to look into things and figure things out is just, like, personally what kind of pushes me forward. But, my grandmothers were people who were forces to be reckoned with. ... I wanted to do more. I didn't want to get stuck, so wanting to do more, and I was the first in my immediate family to graduate with a master's degree. ... wanting to break boundaries, and I felt like I could because I had the supportive family ... when I was going off to college, my mom passed away ... the support of my family to let me know that, no, you can go do something. It's really where I get my drive from, because I want to make everybody proud, and I want to learn things, and I don't want to stop moving.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Yeah, I would say be inquisitive. What has really helped me ... Be willing to ask questions, be willing to figure out how things work, because that's how you're going to be able to have the rapport with the team members, with the clients that you meet with, is because you understand what they do, and they're gonna respect your opinion a little bit more. But also, this is a funny one, but, I manage a lot of people. And the advice I give anybody I hire is take the long way to the bathroom, because you're gonna don't go to the one right close to you. You never know who you're gonna run into. You never know what you're gonna learn, what you're gonna see.
