Her Story
About Haley
Haley Burrow is a Client Success Manager whose career has centered on helping technology customers realize lasting value from their software investments. Since entering the industry in 2019, she has built a reputation for guiding clients through every stage of the customer lifecycle, from onboarding and implementation to long-term adoption and renewal. Her path to technology was unconventional: after spending nearly a decade working in higher education, she led a successful software rollout on her own campus, an achievement that caught the attention of an edtech company and launched her transition into customer success. Since then, she has held roles with organizations including Cisco, Malwarebytes, and Presence, where she notably onboarded around a dozen schools in under two months during the shift to virtual engagement in 2020, well ahead of the typical multi-month timeline. Her core strengths lie in software implementation, relationship management, and developing success plans that demonstrate clear, measurable value to clients.
Burrow's academic background reflects the same dedication to leadership and growth that defines her professional life. She earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Southern Arkansas University before completing a Doctorate in Education in Educational Leadership and Accountability at Capella University in 2022, along with a professional certificate in educational leadership from the same institution. She further strengthened her customer success expertise with a certification from Cisco in 2018. Beyond her formal credentials, Burrow has been recognized for her contributions to the field, having been selected for feature by Influential Women representing Little Rock, Arkansas, in 2026.
Outside of her career, Burrow is deeply committed to community service and animal welfare. She serves as secretary of the board for Out of the Woods Animal Rescue in Arkansas, where her responsibilities span fostering, transport, and reviewing adoption applications, and she also volunteers at Little Rock Animal Village. Her philanthropic spirit extends to her church, where she is active with the missions team and youth group, and to her sorority, TriSigma, for which she remains an engaged alumna volunteer and donor. She also co-founded a mobile bookstore called Pros and Petal. Reflecting on what drives her, Burrow often points to her grandmother's example of hard work and selfless generosity as the foundation for her own values of honesty, empathy, and service to others.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Haley
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my grandmother, who has been my biggest inspiration. She worked for over 30 years as a postal clerk before opening a restaurant, where she fed thousands of people for free, including hospice patients and families in need. Her selflessness, hard work, and compassion continue to drive me to be a good person and to show empathy toward others.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've received is that you don't have to be overly passionate about your job. I believe it's important to enjoy your work, but to find your true passions and sense of purpose in life outside of your 9-to-5. Your job isn't your life—your life is what you do after work.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would tell young women entering this industry not to settle for less than what they're worth. Know your value and fight for it. You deserve a seat at the table, so hold your head high and carry yourself with confidence.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Technology remains a male-dominated field, and it can often feel like a boys' club, where proving yourself or being the lone voice advocating for something different can be challenging. That said, I see real opportunity in the fact that women bring excellent communication, rapport-building, empathy, and listening skills—qualities that serve customers exceptionally well in this industry.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty, transparency, loyalty, and commitment are the values I hold most important in both my work and personal life. I believe in being honest with clients, even when I can't fix something myself—in those cases, I make sure to find someone who can. I hold myself to that same standard and expect the same honesty in return.
