About Haley

Haley Deeb is a construction and preconstruction executive with more than a decade of experience leading complex commercial development projects from concept through completion. She serves as Vice President of Preconstruction at Huntington National Bank, where she oversees preconstruction strategy for retail branch developments, renovations, and tenant improvements, including a major multi-year expansion of approximately 150 banking locations across the Carolinas as well as projects in Texas and Colorado. Her expertise spans project planning, budgeting, scheduling, entitlements, permitting, stakeholder coordination, and construction delivery, ensuring projects are completed efficiently while meeting strategic business objectives.

Before joining Huntington National Bank, Haley built a strong foundation in both public and private sector construction, beginning her career in municipal planning and development before transitioning into commercial construction project management. She held leadership roles with prominent general contractors, where she successfully managed diverse projects and collaborated with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and owners to deliver high-quality results. Known for her collaborative leadership style and ability to navigate complex project challenges, she has earned recognition for her operational excellence, including Employee of the Year honors, and has been an active member of the Associated Builders and Contractors, including its Young Professionals Group in New Hampshire.

Haley earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Granite State College, now part of the University of New Hampshire, and a Graduate Certificate in Construction Management from Northeastern University. She attributes her success to the guidance of exceptional mentors, a strong work ethic, and the high standards she sets for herself and her teams. Passionate about developing future leaders, Haley believes the best outcomes are achieved through collaboration, continuous learning, and the confidence to ask questions, embrace new challenges, and lead with purpose.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Haley

01What do you attribute your success to?

I definitely would say my mentors that have helped build my confidence, and just the standard I hold myself to. I always hold myself to a high standard, and I push myself in a lot of different directions. I've turned down some director roles in my past to keep forging ahead with what I thought I could achieve.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Not being afraid to ask questions and stand up for what you think is right.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Build confidence as a muscle you have to work. Not being afraid to be the person in the room that doesn't always have all the answers and be willing to learn. Always willing to go the extra mile and continue to build confidence and trust with people.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

It is a fast paced job. You really have to be on top of your game. It takes a lot of grit to be organized, to be on top of things, to have the voice. You're very much in a leader position where you're orchestrating a lot of things. It's just a very busy career.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

It takes a team. You have to have a good team of people to make this happen.
