What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
When asked what advice I would give to young women entering my industry, I always say: don’t sell yourself short and don’t limit yourself by thinking inside the box. For a long time, I believed I would follow a very specific path, and I never would have imagined that my career would take the shape it has. My advice is to keep an open mind and an open heart to whatever opportunities come your way. Trust that there is a purpose and a destiny for you, and be willing to learn from the people and experiences you encounter along the journey. Embracing new opportunities with curiosity and faith can open doors you never expected.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
When asked about the values that are most important to me in my work and personal life, I immediately think of the people who have shaped my journey. Cody Walker, the President of the North Little Rock location, has always recognized my potential and empowered me to push beyond what I thought was possible. His support helped me embrace new challenges and expand my career. I also want to acknowledge Desiree Arnett, whom I met in X-ray school. She has consistently encouraged me to take on the hard things in life, including pursuing my Master’s degree, and I am incredibly grateful for her guidance and support.
Family is equally central to my life. This year, my husband and I will celebrate 10 years of marriage, and together we share a beautiful 6-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son. In my free time, I love exploring the outdoors with my family, whether it’s hiking, staying active, or simply enjoying new adventures together. I also enjoy spending quality time with friends, discovering great restaurants, and savoring good wine.
Balancing my career with these personal joys is important to me. I strive to approach my professional life with dedication and passion while also making space to enjoy the meaningful, joyful moments that life has to offer.
