Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to hard work, dedication, and a strong commitment to both my professional and nonprofit work. In my role at Sky Zone, I have focused on learning and development, improving sales conversion rates from 15% to 35% as a Training and Quality Assurance Supervisor. My personal experience with the loss of one of my twin daughters also inspired me to found the Forever Ours Foundation (formerly SharePoint of Utah), which supports families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss and has contributed to advocacy efforts such as Utah House Bill 0559 on bereavement training for healthcare providers. I have also been honored with recognition including the 30 Under 30 award.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is that you can build a career you truly love while also making a meaningful difference and positive impact in the world.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering my industry is that you can and you will succeed—never give up and never stop fighting for what you believe in. Stay resilient, trust your abilities, and remain committed to your goals even when challenges arise.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities in my field right now is the ability to expand awareness and impact for the Forever Ours Foundation on a broader scale. It requires consistent hard work, advocacy, and outreach to ensure that every state is informed about the resources and support available for families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are making a meaningful impact, resilience, and intentional relationship-building. After experiencing infertility, miscarriages, and the loss of one of my twins, I deeply value gratitude and never taking moments for granted, especially in how I show up for my children—prioritizing experiences, learning, and emotional connection over material things. I also believe in modeling growth and accountability, even in imperfect moments, to teach my children how to navigate challenges and move forward. Professionally, whether in learning and development at Sky Zone or through my work with the Forever Ours Foundation, I am driven by purpose and turning pain into meaningful change, with a commitment to advocacy and expanding bereavement support and awareness across all 50 states through collaboration and strong networks.
