Her Story

About Haley

Haley Tract is a nonprofit communications and development leader dedicated to driving community impact through strategic storytelling, marketing, and fundraising. Currently serving as Director of Communications and Development at Family Service League, she oversees messaging and campaigns across more than 60 programs in 20 locations on Long Island, helping to support over 60,000 individuals and families each year. Haley combines her expertise in development, donor engagement, and social impact to connect communities, amplify voices, and ensure organizational sustainability.

Haley began her career in advocacy and direct client services, supporting survivors as an advocate at The Safe Center LI. Over time, she transitioned into development and fundraising roles, eventually leading special events, major gift cultivation, and marketing campaigns. Her experiences on the frontlines of social work inspired her to pursue nonprofit management strategically, bridging direct service insights with organizational strategy to maximize impact. Haley also holds an advanced graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management from Molloy College, complementing her hands-on experience with formal training in nonprofit leadership.

Recognized as a Huntington Chamber of Commerce 30 Under 30 Young Professional, Haley attributes much of her success to her mother’s guidance and to cultivating meaningful relationships within her community. Beyond her professional work, she volunteers her skills to support local organizations, children’s programs, and animal shelters, and enjoys music, art, and family time. Passionate about philanthropy and advocacy, Haley is committed to elevating nonprofit missions, inspiring generosity, and ensuring communities have access to the resources and support they deserve.
