Her Interview

Ten minutes with Hana

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the struggles and challenges I have experienced throughout my personal and professional journey. Those experiences taught me to unlearn generational barriers, practice self-advocacy, and recognize that I do not need anyone’s permission to move forward. I believe in taking initiative, creating opportunities, and having the confidence to pursue what I know I am capable of achieving.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

One of the most valuable lessons I have learned is that no win is too small or too big to recognize. Taking time to reflect on where you started and where you are today can help you appreciate that the life and career you have now may be something you once wished for. I also believe that finding your voice and learning to self-advocate is essential. Speaking up for yourself and communicating your value is never something to shy away from.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would encourage young women to understand that it is okay to say no and that it is always appropriate to ask for more when you know you are capable of contributing more. You are in the room because you deserve to be there. You do not need permission to pursue opportunities, advocate for yourself, or move forward in your career. Recognize your worth and have the confidence to use your voice.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The technology field continues to evolve rapidly across network infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, virtualization, AI, data analytics, and technical products. I see significant opportunities in helping organizations navigate these technologies strategically while managing complex, cross-functional programs and optimizing infrastructure and software investments. My work involves bringing together engineering, product, finance, and other stakeholders to deliver technology initiatives effectively, while using data and analytics to support better business decisions.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I value bringing people together as a team and creating an environment where everyone can contribute. I believe in giving credit to the people who deserve it and being an advocate and sponsor for others as well as for myself. I also believe in addressing conflict rather than running away from it. Clear communication is essential because it helps ensure that everyone is aligned, feels heard, and understands the path forward.
