Before joining Hawaii Public Policy Advocates, Hanna gained valuable experience in research, public engagement, and team leadership through roles with organizations such as Student PIRGs, Gold’s Gym SoCal Group, and Evanston Township High School. A proud former NCAA Division I student-athlete, she competed in women’s volleyball while earning her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Northwestern University. She later continued her academic journey at California State University, Long Beach, where she obtained her Master of Public Policy and Administration (MPA).

Hanna remains passionate about fostering ethical leadership and sustainable policy solutions that benefit both the community and the environment.
