About Hannah

Hannah Aievoli founded her social media management business after graduating from the University of Delaware with an education degree. She also holds TEFL and ESOL certifications, which she pursued alongside her love of languages and travel. After teaching English in Florence for three months following college, she returned inspired to build a career that would allow her to travel, support her family, and help others grow on social media. Originally from New York, she moved to Florida two years ago and has focused on networking to establish her practice in a new environment. Hannah attributes her success to putting herself out there, relying on faith, and persisting through attempts and setbacks. She values family, faith, and surrounding herself with supportive people, and she advises others not to sell themselves short when starting out.

Ten minutes with Hannah

01What do you attribute your success to?

I think it's important to really put yourself out there and see what's gonna happen. God will make it work if it's meant to be, and then just keep going, and trying, and failing, and then trying again, and maybe succeeding.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Don't sell yourself short. Especially when you're new, starting. You want to do everything free and you can up to a certain point, but not forever. And you have to really stick to what you know and what you're able to provide.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My biggest piece of advice is: don't wait until everything feels perfect, just start. It's easy to overthink, compare yourself to others, or feel like you're not ready yet. But you'll learn so much more by taking action than by waiting for the "right" time. I also try to look at life through the lens of "It didn't work out, but at least I tried," instead of wondering, "What if?" Every opportunity, even the ones that don't go as planned, teaches you something and moves you closer to the right one. Be consistent, stay curious, and don't be afraid to put yourself out there. You never know which opportunity, connection, or piece of content could completely change your career.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Opportunities definitely networking. I moved two years ago to Florida so I'm from New York... networking there and growing in a new environment is important... some of the struggles are really also have to do with that. I guess it's moving to a new place, starting a business from the ground up, and really selling yourself so you can be connected with the right people.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Family is definitely important. My faith is also really important to me. Surrounding myself by people who are gonna lift me up. Being around good people can really make or break your career or your life in both senses, so, family, friends, and my faith.
