What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to stay curious and always ask ‘why.’ This mindset encourages learning, drives innovation, and helps me approach challenges with deeper understanding and thoughtful solutions.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
"Slow down." Learn to distinguish reacting from responding; give yourself time to think and respond intentionally rather than acting out of immediate emotion.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is securing sustainable funding, especially as a nonprofit organization. At the same time, being actively involved in local Chambers of Commerce presents opportunities to build partnerships, expand community engagement, and increase visibility, which can help strengthen our mission and impact.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
