Hannah Hanlon

Hannah Hanlon is a skilled winemaker and vineyard manager based in Rochester, Minnesota, with a career rooted in agriculture, viticulture, and family winemaking traditions. Growing up on a farm winery founded by her parents in rural Minnesota, she developed a strong foundation in hands-on vineyard work, resourcefulness, and resilience. Her early experiences working alongside her family shaped her passion for winemaking and inspired her to pursue a career that blends science, farming, and creativity.

Hannah earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Viticulture and Enology from University of California, Davis after beginning her studies at the University of Minnesota. Her education included laboratory experience, a winemaking study abroad program in Italy, and multiple harvest seasons in California’s wine regions. She gained extensive industry experience through internships and professional roles at respected wineries, including Ridge Vineyards, where she worked in quality control, laboratory management, and winemaking operations while contributing to production, blending, and vineyard practices.

Since 2023, Hannah has served as Winemaker and Vineyard Manager at Four Daughters Vineyard & Winery, overseeing all aspects of vineyard management and wine production. Her responsibilities include grape growing, harvest management, fermentation, blending, bottling, wine club selections, and recipe development. Beyond her professional role, she continues to consult for her family’s winery and remains dedicated to supporting local agriculture, sustainable practices, and the growth of the Minnesota wine industry. Known for her detail-oriented, innovative, and hardworking approach, Hannah combines technical expertise with a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and community.
