Her Story
About Hannah
Hannah Lane is an accomplished Accounting Professional, and the owner of Illuminated LLC (DBA Illuminated Bookkeeping), where she provides comprehensive Bookkeeping and Accounting Services to a diverse mix of clients. She operates remotely as a Fractional Bookkeeper, and is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Hannah focuses on organizing client financial information, ensuring clear financial insight for decision making, growth, tax preparation, and operational efficiency.
Hannah’s career in Accounting began while she was in college, while simultaneously working in Banking and Hospitality. She started by earning two Accounting Certificates - one in Accounts Payable/Receivable (five courses), and another in Payroll Accounting (two additional courses). She also has a Bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan State University, where she took additional courses in Accounting, Business, and Arts, and graduated with a degree in Individualized Studies. She credits a class called Accounting Cycle as foundational to her deciding to pursue accounting.
She went on to serve as a Full Charge Bookkeeper at a nonprofit, and then worked for a CPA that introduced her to fractional client work. This inspired her entrepreneurial path, and in 2019, she launched her own Bookkeeping Business. Over her 15 year career, Hannah has held Senior Accounting and Consulting roles in both for-profit & non-profit organizations. Hannah is passionate about lifelong learning, and approaches her work with a client-focused mindset, balancing technical rigor with a collaborative, personable approach.
