Her Interview

Ten minutes with Hannah

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to perseverance and a willingness to keep moving forward, even during times of uncertainty. Before 2020, there were many moments when I wasn't sure what my future would look like or where my career would lead, but I remained committed to learning, growing, and pursuing new opportunities. While I enjoyed my work in corporate roles, I knew I was capable of making a greater impact and wanted a career with a stronger sense of purpose. That drive to challenge myself and seek more meaningful work motivated me to continue my education, embrace new opportunities, and ultimately build a career that aligns with my passion for serving others and contributing to important missions.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've ever received has come from the unwavering support and encouragement of my family. During the years after high school, when I was uncertain about my future and still discovering my path, my parents and sister constantly reminded me that I was capable of achieving my goals and that I didn't have to face challenges alone. Today, my husband continues to be one of my greatest sources of motivation, encouraging me to step outside my comfort zone, believe in my abilities, and pursue opportunities that once seemed out of reach. Having a strong support system that believes in you, challenges you to grow, and encourages you to keep moving forward can make all the difference in building a meaningful and fulfilling career.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would encourage young women entering this industry to stay open to every opportunity that comes their way. Every experience, whether expected or unexpected, is a chance to learn, develop new skills, and grow professionally. Approach each role with a willingness to give your best effort, because consistently delivering high-quality work builds credibility and earns the trust of others. Just as importantly, invest time in building genuine relationships with colleagues, mentors, and industry partners. Strong relationships, combined with a commitment to continuous learning and excellence, will create opportunities and help you build a successful and rewarding career.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that matter most to me in both my work and personal life are loyalty and courage. I believe loyalty is the foundation of strong relationships, whether with family, friends, colleagues, or teammates. I also believe that real growth requires courage—the willingness to step outside your comfort zone, embrace uncertainty, and take on new challenges. Growth is rarely comfortable, but it is through those moments of discomfort that we develop new skills, gain confidence, and reach our full potential. You don't achieve meaningful progress by standing still; you achieve it by having the courage to keep moving forward.
