About Hannah
I am a fashion design educator and freelance surface pattern designer passionate about helping people turn creative ideas into wearable art and marketable products. As an Adjunct Instructor at Hocking College, I teach Fashion Design and Retail Merchandising courses that combine hands-on sewing instruction, design theory, and industry insight.
Through my freelance studio, Hannah Noth Design, I create custom repeating prints using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, working with clients and print-on-demand platforms to bring unique textile concepts to life. I have also taught sewing and design courses with organizations such as New York School of Design and Sew to Speak, helping students of all levels build confidence in garment construction and creative design.
Earlier in my career, I gained valuable experience in merchandising, buying, and apparel development with companies including EXPRESS, Big Lots, and LTD Commodities, where I developed skills in product development, vendor coordination, and retail strategy.
I enjoy working at the intersection of education, design, and retail—supporting students, clients, and teams as they bring creative visions to life.
