Her Interview
Ten minutes with Hannah
01What do you attribute your success to?
My love for teaching and spreading knowledge and training has driven me to create something where I can do that a lot more. I also attribute it to influential women around me like my aunt and cousin Pam, strong values at home about trying hard in school from my mom, and my own passion for doing what I do.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Keep pushing. An old manager said if there's something that you want to do, do it, and her quote was always, you drive what you develop, and I kept that with me. You write your ticket, so if there's something that you want to do, don't stop until you're there.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Challenges include helping organizations find the right staff members at the right time, especially across different states without meeting candidates in person, and ensuring longevity. Opportunities include looking at company culture in a post-COVID world where people may feel isolated, and making sure things are in place to consistently make employees feel valued through real programs.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity first and foremost, going hand in hand with honesty. Passion is extremely important because that's why I do what I do every single day. Fun and joy are also key, because we spend so much time at work and there has to be joy in that. I try to bring the joy and the fun.
