Her Story
About Hannah
I originally was in vocal performance in opera but left that competitive field. I discovered music therapy while directing a summer camp when singing Disney songs helped a dysregulated child. I got a bachelor's of music therapy and started working in private practice nonprofit. I opened Perfect Harmony Health in 2020 during COVID to serve vulnerable populations. I recently got my master's of business.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Hannah
01What do you attribute your success to?
The community, especially our board staffed with parents of clients, and good old-fashioned persistence. Not letting no's be the final answer.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Find a community of women and mentors who are your cheerleaders. A strong community and good mentorship goes a long way.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
People are hesitant about alternative healthcare options due to insurance coverage. As an out-of-network provider, we rely on private pay and grants to make services accessible via scholarships.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Radical acceptance - every person has value and their story matters. Empathy, respect, and creative problem solving.
