Harriett Shaw

Harriett Shaw has been working in Applied Behavior Analysis since 2021. She provides ABA therapy within school settings in Denver, Colorado, traveling to one or two schools daily to support children, often in autism or CDC classrooms. Shaw earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2020 and is expected to complete her master's in ABA this year. Prior to entering the ABA field, she operated her own nail business for six years until retiring in 2024. She has experience across multiple ABA settings, including clinics, in-home therapy, and work on a military base. Shaw values patience and empathy when working with children and emphasizes improving quality of life through regulation over expectation. She previously served as volunteer coordinator for Project EMS, a nonprofit providing resources to less fortunate children and communities in Birmingham.
